Turns a set of images into a ready-to-print fanzine.
Everything else.
There is a precise moment when a photograph is over. You know when you get there. It is a physical, not conceptual certainty.
What comes after — software, files, decisions on the font, layout, grid — does not belong at that time. It's another job.
La (or the, tasting...) fanzine is an old and honest format. Economical, replicable, hand-distributed, archiveable in a box, printable in pocket. It exists to circulate — among people, between the hands, between the tables.
Vertical time — what really belongs to what you can do — is a rare resource. It should not be wasted in unnecessary processes.
GEN-ZINE is the first tool of this website. born to work, not to be beautiful, to do what it takes.
The choice of the FANZINE is strictly linked to an arbitrary choice: 6 images are enough, in my experience, to describe a moment in a complete and interesting way: they are already a collection, they are more than a couple - but not enough to make the vision too weighted or worse boring.
The idea is to use this tool to make souvenirs, business cards, booklets, mini photo leaflets, micro portfoli or a photo a day from Monday to Sunday, clearly excluding Wednesday - because you know, Wednesday is a day of shit.
